Doors to Dignity: Ensuring all Older People are Housed Well
While thousands of older people across Aotearoa are facing growing challenges in accessing safe, affordable housing, there is hope — and there is momentum for change.
Doors to Dignity, led by the Christchurch Methodist Mission, is a nationwide initiative focused on addressing this crisis head-on. Through advocacy, collaboration, and community engagement, we’re working to ensure all older New Zealanders can live with security, dignity, and peace of mind in their later years.
We envision a nation where every older person lives with dignity, leaders champion their right to safe and secure housing, and communities come together to ensure no one is left behind.
