FACILITIES HIRE - UNION STREET COMPLEX

The Christchurch Methodist Mission manages Union Street Complex, located at 24 Union Street, New Brighton. The Complex offers welcoming and flexible spaces available for hire for both community and private use. With a hall and kitchen, chapel, and lounge with kitchenette, the complex is ideal for meetings, classes, gatherings, and special events.

We welcome regular weekly bookings as well as one-off hires.

Friday and Saturday evening hires from 6:00pm are available on application.

OUR FACILITIES:

Hall & Kitchen

The Hall & Kitchen is an excellent space for medium to large size events. Chairs and tables are available for use on request.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, oven, sterilizer, plates, mugs, cups and cutlery.
There are two toilets adjacent to the hall, including disability access and baby changing facilities.

Located outside the Hall is a lovely open garden space that guests can make use of while hiring the space.

Chapel

New Brighton's Chapel of the Waves is a beautifully designed space, with a stunning stained glass window at its centre. The room provides seating for 40 people. Audio & visual equipment are available for use.

Lounge & Kitchenette

The Lounge & Kitchenette space offers flexibility for your needs. Tables and chairs are available for use as required.
The cozy corner area provides a relaxing space that can be separated from the rest of the lounge with a room divider.

The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge freezer, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, mugs, cups, and cutlery.
