A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Winter Charity Concert, featuring acclaimed musician Tom Rainey ONZM and an outstanding lineup of talented friends.
We are delighted to share that more than $5,000 was raised through ticket sales and donations for the Blanket Bank. More than 200 people attended the concert, with many also contributing much-needed bedding items for those facing hardship this winter.
Our sincere thanks go to Tom Rainey, Jennine Bailey (vocals), Gwyn Reynolds (saxophone), Richie Pickard (bass), Will Kao (trombone), Alex Rainey (trumpet), and Zak Williams (drums), who generously donated their time and talent. We are also grateful to volunteers from the Blanket Bank, the Student Volunteer Army, and other CMM supporters whose dedication helped make the event such a success.
Reflecting on the concert, Tom said: “Music has an extraordinary ability to bring people together, and it's especially meaningful when it can also help those in our community who need it most. The Mission's practical compassion and commitment to supporting vulnerable people make it an organisation we are all very proud to support.”
