We recently celebrated the launch of our new Borrow a Bucket Beach Toy Treasure Chest at New Brighton beach, where families can use the toys inside for free anytime. Our old treasure chest was in need of an upgrade, and thanks to the generosity of some wonderful people we now have a brand new chest filled with toys.
The project was funded by the Lions Club of New Brighton, and the New Brighton Menz Shed built the chest. The toys inside were all generously donated by ChristchurchNZ. Thanks so much to everyone involved in helping us provide this awesome community initiative.
We can’t wait to see tamariki and whānau enjoying the toys this summer!
