CMM offers services to every region of the upper South Island and the West Coast. In response to the deepening countrywide housing crisis, the organisation has provided emergency and transitional housing support on the West Coast since early 2020.
A sunny December 23 saw the traditional CMM Christmas hamper initiative, Support a Family, which helped 389 children and 233 adults associated with the Mission at the end of 2021.
The year 2021 saw CMM develop new services, continue long-term programmes that reach thousands each day, as well as once again adapt quickly to the challenges presented by Covid-19 restrictions.
It’s been a whole year since our Guild Street Housing Community was opened last December. With a dedicated community house, a community development worker and an extensive shared green space it is a special place for whānau to live and tamariki to grow up.
Choose from a selection of four fragrances with all proceeds going towards buying additional playground equipment for our Guild Street Housing Community.
Our annual Public Celebration was a chance to reflect upon the work that has been done over the last year.
