Charity Concert We’re delighted to announce that local musical virtuoso Tom Rainey ONZM and his talented friends Jennine Bailey (vocals), Gwyn Reynolds (saxophone), and Richie Pickard (bass) will present another Winter Charity Concert this July in support of CMM. After the performance, guests are warmly invited to stay for refreshments, including fresh scones with jam and cream.
Proceeds from this year’s concert will be invested in our Blanket Bank so we can better support people struggling with cold, insecure and unhealthy homes.
Rainey is a leading instrumentalist, composer and conductor whose decades of collaboration include work with Petula Clark, Bic Runga and Dave Dobbyn, as well as supporting major international acts such as Cher, Art Garfunkel and the Beach Boys. It’s no surprise then that last year’s concert ended with a standing ovation from all 210 ticket holders.
CMM’s concert series continues to attract attention for its exceptional performances and the joy they bring. Earlier this year, international concert organist Martin Setchell thrilled a full house at All Souls Church, demonstrating the remarkable possibilities of a fine church organ in expert hands.
Tom is donating his services to CMM and all proceeds from ticket sales go to CMM's Blanket Bank.
