A free two-session group information programme for parents going through or considering separation who would like to help their children at this difficult time.

A Ministry of Justice programme.

The programme highlights the advantages of parents reaching agreement for themselves in the arrangements for their children without the need to go to the Family Courts.

Parenting through Separation is for:

• parents going through or considering separation
• parents who have applied to the Family Court for assistance
• parents referred by counsellors, lawyers or other professionals

Ideally both parents will attend the programme but not at the same time. They will attend separate sessions. Children do not attend.

Parenting through Separation group programmes are available each school term. The programmes on offer for next term can be viewed on the Programme Calendar.
