About Us
Every day, for close to 80 years, the Methodist Mission has been making a difference in our city and in people's lives.

Through our child and family services, our emergency food relief, our social housing, our group programmes and our elder-care services we reach a broad base of diverse residents facing multiple challenges.

We have about 3000 clients using our community services each year and provide more than 56,000 bed nights each year in our social housing and elder-care services.  Every day, more than 200 people are receiving one of our services.
We are one of the largest social service agencies in the city.

We provide 28 different services and programmes which support people at every age – “from the cradle to the grave”.

Our services not only respond to urgent needs but also encourage people to up-skill, gain confidence and participate positively in their own futures.
